The following articles cover what personal data is collected on the tutor.vedubox.com website and in Etgi Grup's mobile application, for what purposes this data is collected, how it is used, how you can change this information, and how you can contact us.

1. Legal basis for processing personal data

Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection, the Regulation on Service Providers and Intermediary Service Providers in Electronic Commerce, and the Regulation on Commercial Communication and Commercial Electronic Messages contain provisions on the processing and protection of personal data. Turkish Penal Code No. 5237, in turn, provides for certain sanctions regarding the processing and confidentiality of personal data.

As Etgi Grup, in order to fulfill our obligations arising from the contracts we will enter into with you, our customers, within the framework of Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Distance Contracts Regulation, and to provide the best service, we need to process the personal data of you, our members and customers.

2. Method used in processing personal data

Etgi Grup attaches great importance to the security of the information of you, our customers and members, and works with state-of-the-art tools to ensure it. To ensure the security of our site, every kind of physical, electronic, and administrative measure has been taken in secure environments. All information is stored and backed up on secure servers.

In order for third-party providers, including Google, to display ads for tutor.vedubox.com and Etgi Grup's mobile application in the banner areas of publisher sites on the internet, they need to collect information about ads, optimize ads, and serve them based on visitors' past visits to tutor.vedubox.com and the mobile application. Etgi Grup can process your personal data without explicit consent only in the limited cases listed in Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.

The credit card information requested on the payment page is not stored in any way on the servers of tutor.vedubox.com, Etgi Grup's mobile application, or the companies serving it, in order to keep the security of our valued customers who pay through the site at the highest level.

6. To request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions provided for in Article 7,
7. To request that the operations carried out pursuant to sub-paragraphs (d) and (e) be notified to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
8. To object to the occurrence of a result against the person themselves by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
9. To request compensation for the damage if they suffer damage due to unlawful processing of personal data

Your Personal Data will be processed, in accordance with the periods required by the relevant personal data protection legislation, primarily the KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law), and other legislation, and for as long as the above legitimate purposes continue to exist, up to the maximum.

7. Updating Your Personal Data and Your Right to Apply

As Etgi Grup, under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, we are obliged to ensure that the personal data we process is accurate and up to date. Within this obligation, we ask that you contact us through the communication channels in the contact section of tutor.vedubox.com so that we can update your information when it changes. Apart from this, you can also apply to us in the same way by contacting us whenever you want to exercise the rights stated above. As Etgi Grup, we undertake to make the necessary updates following any change in legislation regarding personal data.

Complaints made by our customers whose Personal Data is processed by Etgi Grup will be answered and concluded by Etgi Grup as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest. However, if an additional cost arises, Etgi Grup reserves the right to charge you a fee according to the tariff to be determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.

Our customers may submit their requests and complaints to tutor.vedubox.com in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and the relevant legislation. In this context, you may submit your requests regarding the rights listed under the heading “5. Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data” to the Company, together with documents verifying your identity, by the methods specified below.
